Liberal School District // Elementary School Addition

The new addition at Liberal Elementary School replaces the District’s decades old elementary gymnasium that was destroyed in a disastrous fire in the fall of 2019.  The new facility consists of a 10,500 square foot gymnasium equipped for basketball, volleyball, and archery and includes locker rooms and a performance stage.  A new lobby area is configured to include a dedicated concessions area as well as showcase/display space.  The lobby and adjacent new Elementary School Administrative Offices provide a much more secure entrance into the Elementary School.  Also included in the addition is a 1,700 square foot tornado safe room that doubles as a multipurpose space which can be utilized by elementary classes.
