Liberal School District // High School Gymnasium

The Liberal School District was awarded FEMA grant dollars to go toward tornado safe space for its students.  The District allocated the funds between two projects, including the Liberal High School auxiliary gym, and the Liberal Elementary cafeteria and music room expansion.  For the High School Gymnasium project, Paragon worked with administration and staff to design 8,670 square feet of new gym space that provides the District with additional basketball tournament and P.E. space.  The facility includes locker rooms, weight training area in the mezzanine, restrooms, concessions area with service cabinetry for storage, and traditional wood flooring in the gym.  This tornado shelter will also be open to the community when needed for protection of life during inclement weather.
