Houston School District // Championship Gymnasium

The Houston High School championship gymnasium addition totals about 28,100 square feet.  The competition-sized gymnasium houses about 1,500 athletes and spectators at any given time.  The athletics facility includes two locker rooms, a coaches’ office, restrooms with showers, a training room, officials’ office, and a lobby with concessions and spectator restrooms.  An integrated walking track surrounds the mezzanine level, and bleachers can be retracted when additional goals are needed for practice and tournament play.
