City of Joplin // Fire Station No. 7

Paragon has partnered with GLMV Architecture to bring Joplin Fire Station No. 7 to fruition.  Station No. 7 is presumed to be a three-bay station with drive-through bays housing the City’s fleet of apparatus generally serving the southeast corner of Joplin.  Having completed Station No. 2 for the City several years prior, Paragon was able to involve firefighters from Station No. 2 in the design process for Station No. 7 so that improvements could be made to the prototype station and feedback was implemented very early on.  The new facility will include living quarters to accommodate a crew of six.  Other amenities include a full-sized kitchen, day room, offices, decontamination suite, and fitness center.
