Jasper County | Highway Maintenance Facility
The Jasper County Highway Maintenance Facility was designed to support the operational needs of the county’s highway department through a comprehensive campus that combines administrative, maintenance, and storage functions. The facility includes a 5,000-square-foot office building, and a 30,000-square-foot storage shed, totaling 35,000-square-feet of space utilized as a centralized hub for daily operations and long-term growth.
The office building serves as the new home for highway department staff and was designed to accommodate more than 20 years of anticipated growth. In addition to office and reception areas, the facility includes locker rooms, restrooms, and wash areas for a team of more than 50 employees, along with a large conference and break room that supports training, meetings, and staff gatherings. An oversized vestibule provides a functional connection between the office and maintenance areas, while site improvements include a fuel station, extensive parking, oil recycling infrastructure, a septic system, and circulation designed to accommodate heavy vehicle traffic.
