Improvement of the Neosho School District’s Agricultural Programs has been on the district’s to-do list for a number of years.  The current Agriculture facility’s classrooms and programs have not been large enough to address the demand.  The Neosho district has 475 students enrolled in their agriculture classes and 269 students enrolled in the National FFA organization chapter.  The current facility was built decades ago and the technology inside does not reflect tools and resources used today.

The new Neosho Agricultural Facility will bring together Plant Science, Animal Science, Food Science, and Mechanical Education all under one roof for students across the Neosho School District.  The new facility’s program includes science labs, classrooms, a green house, a drive-thru shop, livestock area, and various support spaces.  This new facility will help enable the district to meet some of their goals for students.  These goals include developing programs to train students for the marketplace, working with industries that hire ag-educated students, and developing students for two and four year college programs.
