Crowder College | Advanced Training & Workforce Center

The renovation of the facility into the Crowder College Joplin Advanced Training & Workforce Center made it into a dynamic educational hub serving both students and the community. The facility supports a diverse range of academic programs, including Welding, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Computer Network Science, Engineering Technology, eSports, and Health Sciences, while also providing general education classrooms and a conference center with seating for up to 150 people.

The design thoughtfully organized specialized instructional environments to support the unique needs of each program, creating dedicated spaces for hands-on technical training, healthcare education, and emerging technologies. Significant infrastructure upgrades modernized the building’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to support advanced educational equipment and evolving program requirements. Through strategic planning and coordination, the project successfully adapted the existing structure into a flexible, modern learning environment that expands educational opportunities for the Joplin region.
