Location
Springfield, MO

The Council of Churches of the Ozarks (CCO) was fortunate enough to find a new location for their Headquarters in a former SRC warehouse/office building.  Paragon Architecture had the privilege of helping CCO leadership re-envision the 57,000 square foot shell with their unique program needs in mind.  Before consolidating under one roof in this newly reimagined space, Council of Churches had service locations scattered across several different facilities throughout Springfield.  Their new Headquarters allows the individuals they serve to come to one centralized location for all of their needs.  The new HQ includes office space for each of the departments and programs, a chapel, shower facilities, rooms stocked with products for each of the programs, and a warehouse complete with loading docks, racking for food pantry storage, and new state-of-the-art industrial scale cooler and freezer.  Programs like Ambassadors for Children, Crosslines, Diaper Bank of the Ozarks, and Safe to Sleep, among others, are able to operate out of this single facility.

With all of their departments and services under one roof, the faith-based umbrella organization, Council of Churches, can continue providing a wide variety of services to the community, but now in a more streamlined manner.  Along with efficiencies and reduced overhead of being located at one site, the various programs will continue to benefit from sharing resources and collaborating with one another more freely without the barrier of geographical distance between the program locations.
