Alliance for Healthcare Education | Renovation & Expansion

The Alliance for Healthcare Education is a nonprofit corporation founded when CoxHealth, Missouri State University (MSU), Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC), and Springfield Public Schools (SPS) combined efforts to address ongoing workforce shortages and evolving market pressures. The mission of The Alliance is to create an educational enterprise that offers a seamless secondary and post-secondary experience, building the talent pipeline needed to support the region’s healthcare workforce for decades to come.

This project involves the renovation of existing space within Cox North Hospital and the expansion of Cox College to create a new health sciences education alliance. The development includes modern classrooms, specialized laboratories, faculty offices, student support areas, and food service amenities designed to support a collaborative learning environment. The expansion also features a conference center with a welcoming lobby, pre-function space, and seamless connections to the renovated educational facilities, creating a hub for learning, training, and community engagement.
