Paragon Architecture was enlisted by the Willard School District to transform underutilized spaces into immersive learning environments at several locations across the district.  The austere corridor with vinyl tile flooring and CMU walls at Willard North Elementary School was transformed with rugged-wear carpet tiles, wood-slat wall treatments and bright pops of color.  Small tables and seats fold down from the walls allowing uninterrupted heavy traffic at the start and end of each day and small group activities throughout the day.  Finally, a hanging display system provides a gallery wall to feature rotating classroom projects and individual artists.  At Willard South Elementary School, the new collaboration spaces help transform a section of corridor and an underutilized corner of the library into an active and dynamic space for small and large groups of all kinds.  The space allows for large and small group activities, while recessed nooks provide a quiet corner for individual reading and learning.  Playful carpeting and bright paint colors pull imaginative young learners into the space and spill down the corridor towards the main library entrance.
